Welcome NP Students!

Hi NP students who are going through the IAC module! I have gone through a number of your Student Assessment 1 answer scripts and found that so many of you wrote that you wanted to develop leadership and public speaking skills during your 3 years in NP! Leadership and public speaking are like two sides of a coin! Leaders must be people of integrity. As public speakers, people will believe our message if we, the messengers, are people of integrity!

Well, since I have an interest in leadership (I am a doctoral student in strategic leadership with 2 more semesters to go before all coursework is completed) and public speaking (have been doing that since 1987--yes, I am an old man!), I thought I would create a blog to address issues related to leadership and public speaking.

My desire is to provide leadership and public speaking pointers on a weekly basis to help you develop your skills. Through this blog, I will also be available to provide whatever help I can in these two areas. Post your questions or comments and I'll get back to you ASAP!
